Prayer for husbands in adultery

A Prayer for my Husband Father in the name of Jesus I seek you for the mind of my Husband for the weapons of his warfare are not carnal but mighty through you to the pulling down of strongholds. For these strongholds have set themselves up against his mind, his emotion, spiritual relationship, his finances, family and marriage. Therefore I cast down imaginations, and every high thing that has set itself up in his mind to exalt itself against the knowledge God, and to bring into captivity every thought of lust, pride, guilt, insecurity, uncleanness, promiscurity and unforgiveness. But transform his mind by renewing it through the power of prayers, songs, spiritual teachings redirect his mind. Where his conscience has been seared by the negative instill that which is moral and good. Stir the Holy Spirit to convict him when he is making wrong decisions. Never let him lean to his own understanding but acknowledge you in all of his way. Where Satan wants him to doubt and believe the lies that he has placed in his mind give him the helmet of salvation to protect his mind for Lord your word is sharper that any two edged sword it penetrates to the dividing soul and spirit, joint and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of his heart. Nothing is hidden from you. I pray that thou would keep him in perfect peace. May he come to know you and trust in you. No more shall past relationships come to mind, or be remembered, visit, nor be repaired neither shall he be able to start new ones that are not of you Father. He will love you with all his heart with his entire mind and with all his soul. With readiness of mind he shall search the scriptures daily for his daily walk with you. He will serve the Lord with all humility of mind. That he will know the mind of the Spirit because it maketh intercession for him according to the will of God. Therefore let this mind, which was in Christ, also be in him.Ceate in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. I pray that he will present his body a living sacrifice Holy and acceptable unto you. Deliver him from the power of darkness save his soul Lord. He will overcome by the blood of Jesus. And no weapon that is formed against him shall be able to prosper. Therefore every life that he has adjusted to, that is not of God destroy it in the name of Jesus. Deliver him from every cage mentality in the name of Jesus. Every demonic cage restricting his life receives the fire of God on it. Every cage of non-achievement working against him return to the sender, bring him out every house of bondage. Every good thing that has been kept from his life I thank you Lord that it will find him by fire. He will achieve what no one in his family has been allowed to achieve. And I pray that he will love his wife as Christ loves the church and also died for it, that he will love her as he loves himself. In Jesus name amen.

For Married Women Only

I pray this prayer for my husband every day in my FLY time and encourage you to do the
same and allow God work on the areas of concern or challenge in your marriage. It’s a
bit lengthy, but isn’t your marriage worth it?
A Daily Prayer For Your Husband
Dear Father, I pray for my husband today, that You may surround him with favor as a shield. (Ps.
5:12)
May You open my husband’s ears to hear Your voice; may You open his eyes to see Your guidance:
and may You open his heart to receive Your wisdom. May You Give him a spirit of wisdom and of
revelation in the knowledge of You, and may the eyes of his heart be enlightened so that he may
know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the
saints and what is the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. (Eph. 1:17-19)
I bind the spirits of rebellion, stubbornness and doublemindedness far from my husband in the name
of Jesus, that he may be free to walk in Your way, and that he may be stable in his ways. (James.
1:8)
I pray that You will give my husband fresh insight and inspiration to do his work and that You will
renew his strength as the eagle’s. (Isa. 40:31)
May you surround my husband with angelic protection in every place he is. (Ps. 91:11)
And may You bring victory to him in every place the sole of his foot treads. (Josh. 1:3)
May You prosper my husband in every task that he puts his hand to and may he Be fruitful in all he
undertakes as he seeks the counsel of wise men and delights and meditates in Your word. (Ps. 1:2)
As my husband delights in You, may You give him the desires of his heart. (Ps. 37:3)
I bind the spirits of pride, spiritual blindness, self-sufficiency and self-righteousness far from my
husband in the name of Jesus, in order that he will give you all the glory for what You are doing in
his life. I bind the spirits of philosophy, deception and religious tradition far from my husband in the
name of Jesus, so that he will not be deluded or pushed off the path that You have chosen for him.
(Col. 2:8)
And so that he may attain all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding,
resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the
treasures Of wisdom and knowledge. (Col. 2:2-3)
May wisdom enter my husband’s heart and knowledge be pleasant to his soul; may discretion guard
him, and understanding watch over him to deliver him from the way of evil. (Prov. 2:10-12)
May my husband trust in You with all his heart, and not lean on his own understanding; may he
acknowledge You in all his ways, and may You make his paths straight. (Prov. 3:5-6)
In the name of Jesus. I also bind the spirits of procrastination, laziness, complacency and foolishness
far from my husband, so that he will not be delayed or diverted from moving ahead with you in the
works that You have already created for him to accomplish.
(Eph. 2:10)
May my husband not be carnally minded, which is death, but may he be spiritually minded, which is
life and peace. (Rom. 8:6)
May he be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that he
may walk in a manner worthy of You, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work
and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all power according to Your glorious
might for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience: joyously giving thanks to You, who have
qualified us to share in the inheritance of eth saints in light. (Col. 1:9-12)
May You give my husband a deep thirst for Your word and may You give him a strong hunger to
move in the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, I know that You will lead him into all truth by your
Spirit. (John 16:13)
I thank You and praise You and have confidence that since You have begun a good work in my
husband, You will complete it. (Phil. 1:6)
You will cause my husband to excel in all that he puts his hand to, as I trust You to guide him, since
it is not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit. (Zech. 4:6)
Sharpen my husband’s awareness of spiritual things, so that he will be effective in his role as the
spiritual head of our household. (Eph. 5:23)
And help me to submit to his leadership in a way that is pleasing to You. (Col. 3:18)
May our love abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, and may we be filled
with the fruit of righteousness, which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
(Phil. 1:9-11)
May the words of his mouth and the meditations of his heart acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, our
strength and our Redeemer. (Ps. 19:14)
May my husband be slow to anger, and not quick temped. (Prov. 14:29)
And may he have a soothing tongue. (Prov. 15:4)
May you give my husband his heart’s desire, and not withhold the request of his lips.
(Ps. 21:2)
May You give my husband to know Your ways, O Lord, may You teach him your paths, and may You
lead him in Your truth. (Ps. 25:4-5)
May You reveal Your secrets to my husband, and may You make him to know Your covenant. (Ps.
25:14)
May You hide my husband in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man, and
may You keep him secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues. (Ps. 31:20)
When he is tempted, I thank You that You will always provide the way of escape, that he may be
able to endure it. (1 Cor. 10:13)
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Ps. 90:17 And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon my husband and do confirm for him the
work of his hands, yes, confirm the work of his hands!

Prayers For Husbands

Lord, I come to You in praise and thanksgiving for who You are. I will extol You at all times; Your praise will always be on my lips. You are faithful to all Your promises. Thank You, Lord that You are turning the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers this month of June. I pray that HUSBAND as a father has compassion on his children, as the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.

Blessed is my husband who always fears the Lord, but HUSBAND who hardens his heart falls into trouble. Lord, You called HUSBAND to be free. Therefore, do not let sin reign in my husband’s mortal body so that HUSBAND obeys its evil desires. I pray that HUSBAND will not use his freedom to indulge in the sinful nature; rather, HUSBAND will serve others in love. My prayer is that HUSBAND will live by the Spirit, and he will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that HUSBAND does not do what he wants. Guard my husband’s life and rescue HUSBAND let him not be put to shame, for he will take refuge in You. May integrity and uprightness protect my husband, because my hope is in You. From the Lord comes deliverance for HUSBAND May Your blessings be on my husband today. Selah

I am confident of this, that He who began a good work in my husband and our family will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Lord, I have not stopped praying for my beloved husband asking You to fill him up with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

Lord, Your Word says that blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But my husband’s delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law HUSBAND meditates day and night. HUSBAND is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever HUSBAND does prospers.

Thank You that You have rescued HUSBAND from the dominion of darkness and You are bringing him into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom he has redemption, the forgiveness of sins. I pray that out of Your glorious riches You may strengthen HUSBAND with power through Your Spirit in his inner being so that Christ may dwell in HUSBAND s heart through faith. I pray that You will make HUSBAND to be made new in the attitude of his mind, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. I pray that HUSBAND as a father will not exasperate his children but instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. I pray that my husband will love me, his wife as he loves himself, and I pray that I will respect my husband.

Let me not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time I will reap a harvest if I do not give up. I am like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant. Lord, lead HUSBAND who is blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths You will guide them; You will turn the darkness into light before him and make the rough places smooth. These are the things You will do. Thank You that You will not forsake my husband and all my loved ones. Praise your Holy Name. Amen.

Prayer against adultery

pray a hedge about your spouse:

Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my cry, do not be silent at my tears. Put my tears in a bottle, are they not in Thy book? Since I am afflicted and needy, let the Lord be mindful of me. Thou art my help and deliverer. Do not delay, O my God." (From Psalms 56 and 40)

My close friend, _____, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me. For it is not an enemy who reproaches me, then I could bear it, nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me, then I could hide myself from him. But it is _______, a man my equal, my companion and my familiar friend, we who had sweet fellowship together." (Psalms 41 & 55)

Let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous. In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught. Hold them guilty, O God, by their own devices, let them fall! In the multitude of their transgression thrust them out for they are rebellious against Thee. Let them be appalled because of their shame. All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall suddenly be ashamed. Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, for I call upon Thee. Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent. In Thee, O Lord, I have taken refuge. In Thy righteousness deliver me. (Psalms 7, 9 & 31)

Though they intend evil against Thee, and devise a plot, they will not succeed. When my enemies turn back they stumble and perish before Thee. Thou hast blotted out their name forever and ever. The very memory of them has perished. Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more. And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there. But the humble will inherit the land and will delight themselves in abundant properity. (From Psalm 21)

"Thou dost surround the righteous with a shield. In peace I will both lie down and sleep. For Thou alone dost make me dwell in safety. Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and call upon Me in the day of trouble. I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me. (From Psalm 4)

"Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord. Be their shepard also and carry them forever. I would have despaired if I had not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the Lord. (From Psalm 27)

"For your huband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of Hosts; for the Lord has called you, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of ones youth when she is rejected, says Your God" (Isaiah 54:5-6)

"I ask You, Father, to rebuke and bind satan in the Name and through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. I ask you to build a Hedge of Thorns around ______ so that anyone who is interested in him will lose interest immediately and leave. I base my prayer on the command of Your Word which says, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" and "Marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." and, "The husband should fufill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wifes body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husbands body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.", as well as, "Dont you know that you yourselves ae Gods temple and that Gods spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys (defiles) Gods temple, God will destroy him, for Gods temple is sacred, and you are that temple", "The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. By His power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Flee from sexual immorality. All others sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." Therefore I will block ______ path with thorn bushes, I will wall ________ in so ________ cant find his way. ______ shall chase after his lovers but not catch them. _____ will look for them but not find them, then ____ will say, I will go back to my wife, ____, for I was better off then than now. Therefore I will allure ____, bring ______ into the wilderness, and speak kindly to _____. For I will remove the names of Baals from _____s mouth. Then the Lord said to me, "Go love ______, a (man) yet an adulterer. For this reason a man, _____, will leave his Father and Mother and be united to his wife, _____, and then they, _____ and _____, will become one flesh. Havent you read He replied that at the beginning the creator made them male and female and said "For this reason a man, ______, will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, _____ and the shall become one flesh". So they, _____ and _____, are no longer two but one, therefore what God has joined together let man not separate. I hate divorce, says the Lord thy God of Israel. Husband, ______, love your wife _____ just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy cleansing her, _____, by the washing with water through the Word. In this same way husband, _____, ought to love his wife, ____, as his own body. Drink water from your own cistern, and fresh water from your own well ______. Should your springs be desperesed abroad, streams of water in the streets? Let them be yours alone, and not for strangers with you. Let your fountains be blessed, ____, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, _____. As a loving hind and graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Place ____ like a seal over _____s heart, like a seal on ____s arm, for ______s love for ____ is as strong as death, _____s jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench _____s love for _____, rivers cannot wash it away. If _____ were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned. For though _____ walks in the flesh, _____ does not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of ______s warfare are not of the felsh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of the fortresses. _____ is destroying every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and _____ is taking every thought captive to the obediance of Christ. For I now rejoice, not that ____ were made sorrowful, but that ____ were made sorrowful to the point of repentance, for ____ were made sorrowful according to the will of God, in order that ____ might not suffer loss in anything through us. For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation. but the sorrow of the world produces death. Lord God, Your Word says that if I see a man sin and it is not a sin that leads to death, that I should pray for him and if I pray for him, You will give him life. Father God, in the Name of Jesus and in the Blood of Jesus shed for _____ and I on the cross of Calvary, that both _____ and I accepted as a payment for our ransom, and asked Jesus to take our sins upon Himself so that we may have life, I come before You day and night unceasingly lying my prayer and petitions before You for ______'s life. Bring him out of captivity Lord God, give him life in You, and restore him to his land. Your Word is Your promise to us that hope in You. Please Lord God, do not hide Your face from me, reach down and rescue us from the pit. Keep Your Word Father God, show us Your mighty hand in our marriage circumstance as I do not and will not focus on the circumstance itself, but will focus on You, keeping my eyes upon You Lord, knowing that You will turn our marriage circumstance around, that You, Lord God, will reverse the curse on our marriage! I love You Lord, I thank You with all my heart. You, Lord God, are my first love, my hope, my light in the darkness, my reason for living. For the only thing worth living for has been the blessing of being chosen by You Father God, to be a heir in Your Kingdom, to be called Your child, to know that I am spoken for by You. Preserve my life Lord God, preserve Kevins life, preserve what You have joined together and make it whole in You. I praise Your Holy Name. Lord life me up and set me on the solid rock and I will endlessly sing and dance my praises to You and I will proclaim Your mighty works all the days of my life! I love and thank you Father God..forever and ever, and I ask all in the precious Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Wives, be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight (1 Peter 3:1-4).
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers (1 Peter 3:7).
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:8-9).
Each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor [spouse], for we are all members of one body. In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:25-27).
• In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice… Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind (1 Peter 2:11).
• If you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth, then do this, my son, to free yourself, since you have fallen into your neighbor’s [spouse's] hands: Go humble yourself; press your plea with your neighbor [spouse]! Allow no sleep to your eyes, no slumber to your eyelids. (Proverbs 6:2-5).
• Remind the people… to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men (Titus 3:2).
Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe (Philippians 2:14-15).
Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many (Hebrews 12:14-15).
• Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification (Romans 14:19).
When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly (1 Corinthians 4:12-13).
Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will (2 Timothy 2:23-26).
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:30-32).
Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up on meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves (Romans 12:9-10).
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God (Ephesians 5:1-2).
I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:1-3).
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18).
The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness (James 3:17-18).
Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ (Philippians 1:27.).
Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss (2 Corinthians 13:11-12).
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near (Philippians 4:5).
Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:17).
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
• Like an earring of gold or an ornament of fine gold is a wise man’s rebuke to a listening ear (Proverbs 25:12).
• Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance (Proverbs 1:5).
• The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice (Proverbs 12:15).
• The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly (Proverbs 15:14).
• He who listens to a life-giving rebuke will be at home among the wise. (Proverbs 15:31).
• He who answers before listening—that is his folly and his shame (Proverbs 18:13).
• The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of the wise seek it out (Proverbs 18:15).
• Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise (Proverbs 19:20).
• Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge (Proverbs 23:12).
• Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it —he will be blessed in what he does. If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. (James 1:19-26).
